LBS offers the Shiksha Shastri or the Bachelor of Education in Sanskrit, a one full year degree course, as a way for candidates of the realm of our ancient language, to gain experience and refined knowledge in the subject.
The degree is bequeathed by Jagadguru Ramanand Acharya. Rajasthan Sanskrit University was set up by the Government of Rajasthan under the Rajasthan Sanskrit University Act, 1998, and is approved by NCTE, Government of India.
Graduation with at least 50% Marks in Sanskrit as a main subject.
(Relaxation to SC/ST/PH/OBC in Eligibility - 5% with PSST exam.)
Candidates can secure admission to Shiksha Shastri program by securing a position in the merit of the Entrance Test - Pre Shiksha Shastri Test (PSST), conducted by any Educational Authority appointed by the state government.
